Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and ConvoCart, run by Rich Jackson from 11816 Inwood Rd #1295, Dallas, TX 75244, with customers across Canada. The legal entity behind ConvoCart is R P JACKSON LTD, company number 13224794 (“ConvoCart”, “I”, “we”). By creating an account you accept them. You must be 18 or over and using ConvoCart for a business.

The service

ConvoCart is an automated assistant for your business. On the social plan it connects to your Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp messages; on the website plan it sits on your own website as a live chat. Either way it replies to your customers in your voice, takes orders, and sends payment links through your connected Stripe account. The assistant confirms every order back to the buyer before placing it, but it can make mistakes: you are responsible for checking your product list and prices are right, for fulfilling what you sell, and for the legality and quality of your goods. A real person from your business can see every conversation.

Your responsibilities

Keep your product information accurate. Deliver what your customers pay for. Follow the rules of the platforms you connect, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp. Do not use ConvoCart to sell illegal or restricted goods, including weapons, counterfeits, or age-restricted products without proper controls, and do not send unsolicited messages. One shop per account.

Billing

There are two plans. The social plan costs CA$49 a month, or CA$440 a year if you choose yearly billing. The website plan (live chat on your own website) costs CA$129 a month, or CA$1,290 a year if you choose yearly billing when it is offered. Both start with a 14-day free trial. Where a card is taken at the start, nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends; where no card is taken, nothing is charged unless you add one. After the trial you are billed monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose. Businesses that joined on an earlier founding price keep that price for as long as they remain subscribed. Cancel any time and your access runs to the end of the paid period; we do not give partial refunds for unused time. Prices for new customers may change, but the price you joined at is never increased while you stay subscribed. Your subscription appears on your card statement as ConvoCart.

Two promises. If you forget to cancel before your trial ends, message me within 3 days of the first charge and I refund it, no questions asked. Social plan, sell-nothing guarantee: if your shop takes no paid orders in a billing month, message me within 14 days of that charge and I refund that month in full. Website plan: if your live chat has no customer conversations in a paid month, that month is free; message me within 14 days of that charge and I refund it. The website plan includes fair use of up to 1,000 customer conversations a month; if you regularly go past that I will talk to you about a plan that fits before anything changes. You can message me any time from the chat on convocart.co or by email at richard@convocart.co.

Payments and your money

Buyer payments go through your own Stripe account. Stripe's normal card processing fee applies to each sale, exactly as it does on your own website, and ConvoCart takes no cut of your sales. We never hold your money and we never see full card numbers.

What we promise, and the limits

We work hard to keep ConvoCart running, but we depend on third-party platforms and cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable when a connected platform changes or withdraws access. Our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and ending the agreement

We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, break platform rules, or fail to pay. You can close your account at any time and ask for an export of your data.

Ownership

We own ConvoCart, its software and its branding. You own your content, your product information and your customer relationships.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters we will email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, where the legal entity is registered, and disputes belong to its courts.
