How to delete your data from ConvoCart

If you are a shopper who messaged a ConvoCart shop

If you contacted a shop through Facebook or Instagram and want the data from that conversation removed, you have two options. Message the shop and reply with the word DELETE; the shop's assistant will confirm and your conversation and any order details we hold for you will be removed. Or email rpjacksonconsultancy@gmail.com from any address, telling us the Facebook or Instagram name you used and the shop you contacted, and we will locate and delete your data. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by reply, except where we are legally required to keep a limited record, for example a completed sale for tax purposes, which is kept only as long as the law requires and then deleted.

If you are a shop owner (Seller)

To close your account and delete your data, email rpjacksonconsultancy@gmail.com from your account email, or use the delete option in your dashboard settings. We will disconnect your Facebook Page and Instagram account, remove the access tokens we hold, delete your account and catalogue, and confirm within 30 days. Records required for tax and accounting are kept only for the legally required period.

What deletion removes

Deletion removes the personal data we hold: message content, Meta-scoped identifiers, names, contact details, delivery addresses, and any access tokens. Card data is held by our payment processor Stripe, not by us; Stripe deletion is handled under Stripe's own terms and we will pass on your request.
